GAS CYLINDER 70/30 Guinness Mix [70% Nitrogen and 30% CO2]
We have been looking for a bottle to sell a Guinness Mix Gas, we have taken a 6.8kg CO2 bottle and filled it with Guinness Gas instead. When empty pop back in and we can send it off for a Guinness Gas refill [at $55 in store only] or we can fill it with CO2 in-store.
Guinness and other creamy stouts and ales are served using a mixture of nitrogen and co2, rather than simply co2 like most beers. This use of nitrogen has led to a surge of nitro stouts hitting bars across the globe, now it is possible to replicate the style at home as well.
My Kegs On Legs brand, made by Catalina cylinders in the USA. These Aluminum cylinders are lightweight and last for up to 50 years. Strong and rated to be filled 20,000 times.
They DON’T RUST / when c02 and moisture combine it creates carbonic acid that eats out the steel cylinders from the inside out. This is accelerated by Swarf (iron filings that are inside the cylinders from then the threads were cut)
