Red IPA [Casey's Brewery] Fresh Wort Kit
Undiluted: specific gravity 1063, IBU 62
An amber-red coloured IPA ideal for winter. Hopped with Topaz (Aus), Pacific Jade (NZ) and (US) to give this beer a luscious tropical marmalade on warm toast character.
Ferment with US-05, Lallemand BRY-97 or any other similar dry finishing yeast. Fermenting at ambient winter temperature with a lager yeast would also work well.
Dry hop with Cascade, Galaxy, Citra or similar styles of citrusy or marmaladey hops at 1 to 3 grams per litre if desired.
